My name is Zachary Purcell.

I was born in Helsinki, Finland, grew up in St. Petersburg, Russia, and have lived in Mississippi, Texas, Russia, and Hong Kong.

You can't get more diverse than Hong Kong and Mississippi.

I studied film at the University of Texas at Austin and was based there for most of my career but just recently moved a couple hours north to Waco, TX.*
